Business Navigator is a trade name of Commerce Finance AD. As developer of the most popular accounting software on the Bulgarian market, the company has oriented its activity  to cooperation with its customers. The motto “We protect your investments!” has become a way of life for the employees and distributors of Commerce Finance AD in Bulgaria.

For its overall activity in the development, delivery, implementation, training and maintenance of software, Commerce Finance AD was certified under the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000.

Business Navigator has been designed, from the very beginning, as a universal and multi-language system, adaptable to various national accounting, tax and financial standards. It has been translated into German, English, French, Italian and Russian. Presently it is installed on over 5000 computers in many companies operating in trade, production, transport, services etc. There is hardly an economic sector without companies successfully using our system.

Business Navigator is performed in compliance with European Community regulations. The programme supports many accounting systems and is used in other countries.

The software products of the Business Navigator Series are based on new approaches and methods of work related to the overall business of the company. Developed according to the European standards, they have become a standard of quality, reliability and security of the accounting software on the Bulgarian market.

The various possibilities and new approaches and methods of work have won Business Navigator prestigious awards at Bulgarian and international fairs:

• Two gold medals at the International Technical Fair – Plovdiv;
• The Great Award of the Infotech Fair – the Balkans Without Borders;
• Membership in the American Academy of Science, Education, Industry and Arts of California, USA.

Business Navigator is used by over 5000 companies in Bulgaria. A broad dealers’ network has been created, covering over 50 towns in Bulgaria, providing proximity and individual services to the customer.

The high quality of the products of Commerce Finance AD was demonstrated on the CeBit- the biggest computer fair in the world, in Hanover, Germany. The sales of Business Navigator are now oriented to the EC countries as well.

SECURITY, DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE

• Special measures for the security and reliability of the data. Controlled access with individual passwords and four levels. A system for individual authorized access of operators to functions, folders or reports.
• Back-up archiving and retrieval from the archives, WinZip-compatible. Archiving, on various carriers, of the whole information or the information for a specific company. Retrieving data from the most recent archive, or from older archives, as well as from a partial archive.
• Hardware requirements. Business Navigator has no special requirements to the computer besides the RAM. The software can be installed on any computer system suitable for Windows 95/98/NT/2000. Required for the installation are 40MB free memory on the hard disk, printer, mouse. All reports are printed in a A4 format on a 80-column ink jet or laser printer.
• Operation in a local network. The operation in different types of networks does not depend on the type of the network operational system.
• Client-server versions for Pervasive SQL, Oracle, Infomix, MS SQL Server etc., with guaranteed security and speed in case of large volumes of data and more users.
• Development and maintenance. Business Navigator is being constantly developed following customers’ recommendations, and almost every 3 months a new version is provided to the customers, with new options and automated operations. The reasonable changes, following customers’ recommendations, are included as new functions in the software.
• Training. The price includes an initial training – a 2-day course, and 2 days of individual training on the site. A detailed documentation in 700 pages is provided, as well as multimedia lessons, help and examples.
• The one-year warranty of Business Navigator comprises a subscription to four (4) new versions and free telephone consultations.

• Document-oriented approach. Automated distribution to accounts, based on document types. Input are not accounting entries, but documents where the accounts are automatically generated.
• Direct regime of operation with all data, input and adjusted in the process of work, without closing the window. Access to all data when they are required from any window of the program. The whole information is always accessible, for unlimited number of periods and years. Reports are shown with all details for the period, periods or year, chosen by the user.
• Deferred accounting and reimbursement. Input of documents and adjustments before accounting. Possibility for canceling a document or period, or a repeated accounting regardless of the period.
• Convenient start. Business Navigator contains ready-to-use forms with basic data for companies in different businesses. The user can start work immediately, with minimum system adjustments, using automated operations.
• Adaptability to changes in the laws. All data can be adjusted in the process of work, without the necessity to re-input  them again. The adjustments in the parameters of the program do not require any special qualification, and can be done by the accountant. Any adjustments in the program related to changes in the laws are free of change for the subscribers. 
• Simultaneous operation with many periods and years. Hot balances updated at the moment of booking the primary accounting document for all active periods and years. Software accounting, with a possibility to generate reports at any time and immediately for all periods and years.
• Multi-version reports for a period, periods or years. Rich choice of reports, with a possibility to extract parts of the information. Filters from one date to another, by search criteria for parts of the information. Reports generator with flexible adjustment of formulas containing account data. Export of all reports to MS EXCEL, Star Office or text files. Reports generator and forms designer.
• Work in different media – for one or many companies, under Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000. Single-user operation and network operation. Client-server versions for major users with guaranteed processing speed and security of data.
• Import and export possibilities. Business Navigator is flexible regarding its connections to external programs and to remote work stations. Defining filters for import of data from text files, adapting Business Navigator to the format of any other program. Export of data and all reports to MS EXCEL, Star Office or text files.
