Заместник-министърът на икономиката, енергетиката и туризма Иво Маринов ще участва като почетен гост на церемонията по откриването на деветнадесетото издание на международното туристическо изложение IMTM 2013, което ще се проведе на 05 и 06 февруари в Тел Авив, Израел. Поканата бе отправена от изпълнителния директор на изложението г-н Лиор Гевфанд и почетния консул г-н Мони Бар и е насочена единствено към българската страна.
International Mediterranean Tourism Market е едно от най-значимите туристически изложения в региона. През 2012 г. на площ от 4 400 кв.м. в него участваха над 1 130 изложители от 36 страни, а броят на посетителите надвиши 23 500. България се представя на IMTM 2013 като целогодишна туристическа дестинация с акценти върху зимен, летен, балнео и спа туризъм.
Туристическото изложение в Израел е най-старото в Източно-средиземноморския район. През миналата година в него са участвали 870 изложители от 40 страни, а посетителите са били над 25 000 души.
